Anyone suspected of or accused of a crime. We can help you at any stage. We are registered to provide legal aid to pay for your costs. Our first interviews are free. The law on police questioning changed in October 2010.
You are now entitled to speak to a lawyer by telephone before the police question you.
You are also entitled to have a lawyer present whilst the police question you.
These are your rights and you should use them. We anticipated this change and established a 24 hour service to provide a lawyer to help you when you are at the police station at any time, day or night.
You should always ask for our lawyers to be informed immediately if you are to be questioned by the police. You can contact us as soon as you know the police want to speak to you.
